The Backpacking School consists of two concurrent programs: Classroom Seminars and Field Trips. Students must complete both programs in order to graduate.
There are seven classroom seminars, all held on Wednesday evenings at the American Mountaineering Center, 710 10th Street, Golden CO 80401, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. There are three weekend overnight trips and one day-trip with an optional overnight stay.
